March 25, 2020

I am a video editor/audio producer, or as my Facebook job description says, a “Multimedia Specialist”. The company I work for is classified as a broadcast facility, and as such is part of the essential services list. We have however decided to shift, for the next couple of weeks, into working remotely. The last few days have been a little hectic, as we have been making sure that all connections are viable, and that we can continue to provide the best service possible.
Everything is good, and as such, I am now able to work from home. Today’s projects involve digitizing 45 year old audio cassettes, and being on call to caption and ship any commercials out to stations.
Also, I present to you a before and after pic - yesterday at work, and today at home. Today’s work-space is a little more humble, but it still works none-the-less. Please excuse the goofy/somber looks - I will never take a good selfie, Caroline and I have determined that to be my lot in life.
Also, also, as we all need something to distract our minds, I will tell you a bit about the t-shirt I am wearing each day (from my extensive collection of Corporate Logo shirts). Yesterday’s was from the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology in Drumheller, Alberta. I got it from my sister Judi, when they went on a trip out west (which included, I believe a visit to the Calgary Stampede). Today’s shirt is a one I received from my In-Laws John and Ilona. They got it on one of their Holland America Cruises. It says, “Cruising Adventures”.
Have a wonderful day everyone.
