It always seems that time passes so quickly...you know, before you know it, summer has passed, and we're back to griping about how cold it is again...
If anything has been laid out very plainly for me this year, it's just how slowly things happen. It has been just about a month that I have been presenting daily shirts to you, and in that time, our chives have grown to the point of "first cutting", the buds on the tree directly in front of our balcony are just about to open, and the grass in our courtyard is now a bright green. We're witness to how nature does it's thing...year after year. We may not be able to be cheer on the Jays this year, or dine out at our favourite restaurant, but we are able to witness the best show of all, and it is literally in our back yard. Tomorrow, next week, and next year, I will surely be slowing down a bit more, and taking in what is being presented to me.
Open up your windows - take a breath of fresh air, snap some photos and imagine that all of this happens every year, without fail - and it's not without a lot of things coming together in harmony. You could say, "it's not easy being green".
Oh, and here's a Kermit t-shirt.
